Today we woke up late after snoozing the alarm one too many times.
Thank goodness we packed majority of our suitcases prior to sleeping.
On the way to the airport something didn’t feel right.
I checked my bags … yep they’re all there.
Looked at my wrist … yep there is my watch.
Looked at my fingers … HOLY F*CKING SHIT my rings, more importantly … MY WEDDING RING !
I broke out into an instant panic/sweat but soon realised Cat must have had it because her reaction was pretty tame.
So with that she smirked and lectured then NAGGED and handed it to me.
Phew.
Five hours later we arrived at JFK Airport.
Whilst in line waiting for a Taxi a black dude tried to coax us into a unmarked van. LOL
On the way to our hotel at Times Square, the Cabbie told us there was a United Nations conference this week
which would see additional Police presence and traffic throughout the city.
We arrived at our hotel and was quite impressed, even though the room was small.
First stop, a New York Pizza.
Truth be told, the pizza was average.
I’m sure its better somewhere else.
And that’s our first night in the Big Apple.
